Short cv

Vahide Hazal Abat was born on October 8, 1991 in Istanbul. In 2014, she graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry. In the same year, she was accepted to the doctoral program at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics. In 2018, he completed the Endodontics doctoral program with honors and was awarded the title of doctorate in Endodontics with his doctoral thesis on intra-canal activation methods. In 2022, he published his first article in an international SCI indexed journal. Three articles on current issues were published in national refereed journals in 2021, 2022 and 2023. In June 2022, he was awarded the 'Best Oral Presentation' award at the 8th International Yudsa Congress organized by Yeditepe University. In June 2023, a study investigating the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on dental patients was published.

He worked as a lecturer in the Department of Endodontics at Yeditepe University between 2020-2022; he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the same department in May 2022. For the last four years, he has lectured at the faculty of dentistry, including theoretical and applied endodontics courses. As of September 2023, he started to accept patients at Üsküdar University Faculty of Dentistry as an Assistant Professor (doctoral faculty member), and on the other hand, he continues his academic studies rapidly.

He has numerous poster and oral presentations in both international and national scientific meetings. He has participated in 47 professional seminars and courses so far. He is a chapter author in the book Endodontics. Since 2015, he has been a member of the Turkish Society of Endodontics.
