Vahide Hazal Abat was born in Istanbul on October 8, 1991. He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2014. The same year, he was accepted into the Ph.D. program at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics. In 2018, he completed his Ph.D. program in Endodontics with honors and earned his Ph.D. degree in Endodontics with his doctoral dissertation on intracanal activation methods. In 2022, he published his first article in an international SCI-indexed journal. Three of his articles on current topics were published in national peer-reviewed journals in 2021, 2022, and 2023. In June 2022, he was deemed worthy of the 'Best Oral Presentation' award at the 8th International Yudsa Congress organized by Yeditepe University. In June 2023, a study investigating the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, which shook the entire world, on dental patients was published.

Between 2020 and 2022, he worked as a lecturer at Yeditepe University, Department of Endodontics; in May 2022, he was appointed to the Assistant Professor staff in the same department. For the past four years, he has taught courses in the faculty of dentistry, including theoretical and practical endodontics courses. As of September 2023, he started accepting patients at Üsküdar University Faculty of Dentistry, earning the title of Assistant Professor (Ph.D. faculty member), while rapidly continuing his academic studies.

He has numerous poster and oral presentations at both international and national scientific meetings. To date, he has attended 47 professional seminars and courses. He is a chapter author in an endodontics book. He has been a member of the Turkish Endodontic Society since 2015.
