Depending on the type of operation and the patient's characteristics, planned surgical methods can be applied under local anesthesia, sedation, or general anesthesia.
Disorders forming the jaw or facial structure create aesthetic and psychological problems in individuals. Individuals consult jaw surgery due to various oral problems such as pain in the jaw part, wearing down of teeth, and being damaged. They experience potential problems such as biting, chewing, and swallowing food. Eliminating problems caused by noisy breathing, difficulty in speaking, snoring, and the abnormal shape and size of the mouth opening also falls within the scope of this department.

- Pediatric patients whose treatment cannot be continued in the dental unit,
- Adult patients with excessive anxiety,
- Procedures where long-term operations are anticipated and mouth opening cannot be maintained during this period,
- Patients with an excessive gag reflex,
- Neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's and dementia where it is difficult to communicate with the patient,
- Patients who do not have enough time for their treatments for various reasons.

Dental treatments of individuals with Down syndrome, Cerebral palsy, Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), mental and physical disabilities, psychological problems, or dental fear are performed under general anesthesia.

These treatments being applied are performed in the operating room environment by an anesthesiologist and an oral, dental, and maxillofacial surgeon. According to the needs of our treated patients, control periods deemed appropriate by the specialist are arranged, and treatment follow-up is carried out.
